- Cut the crust into cubes.
- Take any saucepan, pour in water and add sugar.
- Boil water until the sugar dissolves and the syrup becomes clear.
- Put the crusty slices in the syrup and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
- Turn off the heat, cover and leave to infuse for 12 hours. Then again boil for 15 minutes and again wait 12 hours. And repeat the same procedure again.
- Take a colander or strainer and dump the cooled ingredients into it. The crusts will remain in the colander, and the sweet mass will drain. It is advisable to hold them in a colander for 30 minutes to completely free them from the liquid.
- Prepare a baking sheet on which to spread the aluminum foil. Roll future candied fruits in sugar to avoid sticking and place loosely on a baking sheet. Remove this entire structure in a dry, non-clogging place for 2 days.

Cooking steps:

- Boil water with the juice of half a lemon and scald the watermelon rind 4 times with it. Send to a colander and cool with water.

- sugar - 1 kg;
- water - 200 grams;
- lemon, orange, vanillin - to taste and desire.
Cooking steps:
- Remove the green shell from the crusts.
- Cut them into curly shapes and blanch for 5 minutes.
- Fill the multicooker bowl with slicing, add water and sugar, in the specified amount. There are two options for preparing candied fruits. First: turn on the "baking" mode, the second: the "pilaf" mode. The time should be chosen according to the instructions for the multicooker.
- After the first boil, add 200 grams of sugar and squeeze lemon juice, orange. If citrus fruits are not available, use citric acid to taste. Again, you should enable the same mode on the control panel. Don't forget to add vanillin.
