Ideas for decorating an old flower pot
Houseplants are an integral part of the interior of every home. In order to focus on plants, you need to choose a beautiful flower pot for them. You can make it yourself from scrap materials.
If you already have a flower container, you can decorate it. Then the out-of-fashion flower pot will again become a decoration of your room. There are many ideas for decorating old flower pots:

To make a flower pots, you need to prepare a cement mortar. An old openwork fabric, such as tulle, is immersed in a prepared solution. Then it is placed on a bucket turned upside down.
Cover the bucket with a plastic bag to prevent it from sticking to the grout. Then place the cloth over the bag.
The tulle is carefully straightened to create beautiful folds and creases in the fabric. The tulle soaked in cement mortar is left to harden for at least 24 hours.
The frozen pots are turned over in a day. The bucket is removed from the fabric. The cement planter is covered with paint. After drying, you can put a flower pot in it.
Such an openwork pots can be made in different sizes. Use containers of different sizes and heights for the base.
Decorating the pot with pistachio shells
For those who like pistachios or walnuts, you can decorate the flowerpot with their shells. You can decorate with a plastic pot or a container for flowers made of clay.
You can use clear liquid nails to secure the shell to the surface of the pot. There are two types of mounting glue: alkyd and acrylic.
It is better to use acrylic glue for working with a flower pot, as it is almost odorless. Alkyd adhesive provides a strong bond to the work surface, but has an unpleasant odor.
The shell is pasted over the entire outer surface of the pot. Then it is covered with gold paint.
Use spray paint to quickly and evenly cover the entire pot surface.
