Virocid's instruction allows you to use the product in two ways - for preventive and forced disinfection. In the first case, processing is carried out in the absence of animals, in the second - they can remain in the treated premises.
Virocide can be used wet - for soaking in solution, wiping and spraying. Also, the drug is used for aerosol treatment of veterinary facilities - in this case, special fog generators are used.
Preventive treatment
Disinfection treatment of veterinary equipment and premises prevents the development of infectious diseases in animals.It is carried out only if they are absent.
Preventive treatment rulesand:
- Before processing, all surfaces in the room must be cleaned and washed using a concentrated soap solution.
- To prepare a working solution, a dosage of 20-50 ml of the drug is used per 10 liters of slightly heated water.
- The consumption rate of the working solution for preventive treatment is 250 ml per 1 sq. M.
- Virocide can be used for aerosol treatment - the solution is prepared in a proportion of 20-25 ml per 10 liters of water.
Virocide for eggs and incubation equipment is used at a concentration of 0.25-0.5%. The prepared solution is used to disinfect the eggs before placing them in the incubator. The eggs are immersed in the solution for 20 minutes.
The disinfectant can be used to disinfect vehicles transporting farm animals. Before processing, vehicles must be washed with foaming detergents, then rinsed and treated with a Virocid solution (25-50 ml per 10 liters of water).
A similar solution is used to treat veterinary instruments. They are soaked for 25-30 minutes, then rinsed with distilled water.
Forced disinfection
Virocid can be used for forced, that is, emergency disinfection of veterinary premises and equipment. In this case, the animals can remain inside the treated premises.
For urgent disinfection, a solution of Virocid with a concentration of 0.5% is used, which is applied to the surface by an aerosol method. For better distribution and uniform coverage, glycerin is added to the solution - no more than 10% of the total liquid volume.
The treatment of the premises with Virocid is carried out in compliance with all safety measures - using overalls, a respirator and protective gloves.
Virocid's analogs
If necessary, Virocid analogues can be used for disinfection of veterinary premises and equipment.
These include:
- Septol;
- Dezvur;
- Aquistin;
- Gan;
- Absolucid Forte;
- Maximum;
- Deactive Universal;
- Bialon;
