Three ways to peel a pomegranate
Juicy red grains with a unique sweet and sour taste - which of us doesn't love pomegranate? What can we say about the benefits of pomegranate juice, which is recommended to regularly drink to children and women in an interesting position. However, instead of squeezing the juice themselves, most people prefer to buy store drinks, the quality and naturalness of which can be argued. And all for the reason that it is correct to clean Garnet not everyone can. So we run to the nearest supermarket, fearing to stain ourselves and the entire kitchen in the process of getting valuable grains. But knowing some of the tricks, such disastrous consequences can be avoided, besides, the fruit can be kept almost intact and not lose precious juice. All it takes is a sharp knife and a few tricks.

Despite the fact that the inside of the pomegranate is edible, we wash the fruit well before peeling.
Method one: divide the fruit into parts
It is imperative to "take off the cap", otherwise you will not see where to cut. We cut, not reaching the end.
The next step will be to divide the pomegranate into parts: insert the knife into the core itself, slightly scroll and, as it were, open the fruit. That's all - not a single grain was harmed, at most, some may spill out.
Method two: get the grains right away
If you are reluctant to mess with the slices, choosing grains from them, you can simplify this procedure. The beginning of the process is similar:
- cut off the lid;
- make side cuts.
And now the most interesting thing: we take a deep bowl and an ordinary tablespoon. We hold the pomegranate over a bowl (cut down) and knock on the sides of the fruit with a spoon, knocking out the seeds. To prevent juice splashing in different directions, we try not to raise the fruit above the walls of the dishes.
Method three: the grains are whole, the hands are clean
As you know, in addition to useful properties, pomegranate juice has one not very pleasant feature: after contact with it, the skin of the hands acquires a persistent yellow color. To keep your hands clean, cut the fruit in water, namely:
- cut off the top again;
- lower the pomegranate into a pot of water;
- we break it in half, taking it by the sides and resting our fingers in the center of the fruit;
- select the grains directly in the pan.
It remains to select pieces of film and peel from the water and strain the seeds.
