Roundup against weeds - instructions for use and features of use
So the hot season is approaching for summer residents, when the weeds growing before our eyes drown out the vegetable plantings. In order not to stand the whole season with a hoe, purchase Roundup against weeds, the instructions for using this herbicide are simple. If you follow its recommendations, you will get rid of unwanted herbaceous vegetation in one treatment.
Weed roundup - instructions for use
The drug has a convenient packaging. For small problem areas, 5 ml ampoules can be purchased. For large areas, bottles from 50 ml to 1 liter or cans of 20 liters are produced.
Roundup quickly decomposes in the soil, so after the death of the weeds, you can safely start planting. At the same time, the herbicide does not reduce soil fertility and retains its protective effect for at least another 2 months. The drug is effective against cereal, dicotyledonous and rhizome weeds. And also from overgrowth of trees and bushes.
Dosage
Herbicide is produced in liquid form, it is diluted with water. The concentration of the solution depends on the type of plant and the purpose of the treatment:
- Annual weeds - 40-60 ml per bucket of water.
- Perennial and tree crops - 120-140 ml.
- Processing between rows of vineyards, areas before planting potatoes - 80 ml. The same working solution is suitable for the autumn cultivation of the vegetable garden after harvesting.
It is important to avoid getting the herbicide on crop plants. Roundup does not "distinguish" them and also destroys them. When processing a garden, it is advisable to wrap up tree trunks with foil.
Timing and number of treatments
Since the herbicide must get on the weeds, it is applied to the plants that have already appeared, and not to the soil itself. Roundup can be used:
- in early spring, a couple of weeks before planting cultivated plants;
- during the summer, but always using the "point method" (only weeds are directly processed);
- in autumn, after harvesting, to destroy sprouted perennials.
Herbicide destroys herbaceous annual weeds in one treatment. Trees and perennials may need multiple sprays.
