Fertika fertilizer for potatoes: instructions for use
Fertik's drug belongs to the complex mineral fertilizerspresented in various variations depending on the type of plant for which it is applied. When growing potatoes, a special fertilizer "For potatoes" is used. It is a powdery preparation with fine granules that dissolve quickly and completely in water.
Characteristics of the drug
Fertika "For potatoes" fertilizer contains a full range of nutrients necessary to obtain a bountiful harvest of root crops:
- nitrogen;
- phosphorus;
- potassium;
- magnesium;
- sulfur.
The fertilizer contains absolutely no chlorine and is harmless to plants and humans.
Useful properties of fertilizer
As a result of the introduction of the drug:
- potatoes grow actively and ripen faster;
- resistance to various diseases increases;
- a larger number of tubers are laid, as a result of which the yield increases;
- root vegetables are stored longer and without loss of taste.
How is the drug used?
Fertik's fertilizer "For potatoes" has simple instructions for use. Depending on the period in which the drug is used, it is introduced as follows:
- During soil preparation... Before planting potatoes in early spring, fertilize the soil at the site at the rate of 80 g per 1 sq. m. and dig up, while removing the roots of the weeds.
- During planting potatoes... In prepared holes, made at a distance of about 40 cm from each other with a row spacing of 70 cm, pour a small amount of fertilizer (maximum 20 g per hole). With a shovel, gently turn over the soil in the hole, mixing it with fertilizer, and then lay out the tubers. This is done so that the potatoes do not come into direct contact with the granules.
- During potato growth... During hilling, the potatoes can be fed with Fertika, using 1 sq. m. 30 g of the drug. Spread the fertilizer around the bushes and mix gently with the soil. Hilling should be carried out twice, the first time - when the plantings grow to a height of 10 cm, and the second - before the rows close.
A feature of the introduction of the drug is the embedding of granules in moist soil. In dry weather, additional watering may be required to dissolve the drug.
Experienced gardeners note that the best effect is given by fertilizing potatoes with Fertika before planting the tubers or directly during planting, since such an introduction provides the necessary balance of nutrients.
