Caring for chrysanthemum small-flowered undersized at home
With the arrival of autumn, huge balls bloom in flower beds and pots - bushes and bushes of chrysanthemums with small flowers. After all, a beautifully designed chrysanthemum bush really looks like a ball. In order to get lush flowering bushes of stunted chrysanthemums at home, it is necessary to properly care for the plant, which, in principle, is unpretentious in care.
Chrysanthemum care at home
Like all flowers, bush chrysanthemum has its own care features:
- Lighting - the pots are best placed on the western or eastern windows: from an excess of light, the chrysanthemum will quickly fade, and if there is insufficient light, the buds will not open. The plant has no more than 10 hours of daylight hours, so after this time the pot must be covered with a cardboard cap.
- Temperature - in order for the bush to accumulate enough buds and bloom for a long time, you need to maintain the temperature in the summer of 20-23 °, in the fall - 15-18 °, in the winter - 3-8 °;
- Watering is carried out with warm, settled water strictly at the root.
- Spraying - carry out regularly when growing chrysanthemums indoors. If the pot is on the balcony, it is not sprayed, since there is already the necessary humidity there.

Chrysanthemum wintering
Chrysanthemums of some varieties winter well in the open field, provided additional shelter is provided. To prevent the plant from freezing, the branches must be cut, the bush must be covered with earth or leaves and covered with a film on top.
Features of caring for chrysanthemums during the growing season
In order for the potted chrysanthemums to begin the growing season already in the first days of spring, the flower should be transplanted into a larger pot, completely changing the soil. Young plants need to be replanted annually, and adults once every two years. Flowers are fertilized two weeks after transplantation.
Place the pot with the transplanted flower on a well-lit windowsill or plant it in open ground. But for the winter, dig up the chrysanthemum, put it back in the pot and put it back in the room.
To form a lush round bush, the growing twigs are pinched 2-3 times to stimulate the growth of new lateral shoots with buds.
