Plant characteristic
Anyuta's bushes are vigorous and during the season they grow a vine up to 3 m long. Given the strength of growth, grapes need to ration the load and remove excess ovaries. Young seedlings enter fruiting already at the 4th year of life and belong to mid-season types. In the south, the harvest takes place on average after 140 days, in the first half of September.
In the middle lane, the hybrid is grown as a medium late, and the crop is harvested in early October.
The variety has good winter hardiness - at minus 23 ° C. Although the vine manages to ripen before frost, but given the specified threshold, in colder winters, the bushes need mandatory shelter. But the resistance to grape diseases (powdery mildew and mildew) is at an average level. Therefore, it is important to timely carry out preventive treatment of the vineyard.
Productivity and taste
The hybrid has a high yield - more than 6 kg of berries from one young bush. Anyuta grape is one of the best new table varieties, which has some advantages in this respect:
- large, loose cone-shaped clusters weigh from 1 to 1.5 kg;
- the berries themselves weigh up to 15 g each, and there are even 20 g;
- all berries are almost the same size - the hybrid lacks peas;
- dense pink skin can be eaten with pleasure, but insects do not damage it;
- the pulp is also dense and very juicy, high in sugars.
In addition, there are many positive reviews about the good transportability of the crop. Thanks to the thick skin, the berries tolerate long-term transportation well. Other growers note that they stay on the bush for a long time, even overripe.
Perhaps the only drawbacks that specialists growing a hybrid could find are cracking and the presence of seeds. Although there are few seeds in the berries, up to 4 pieces, and they are large. And grapes crack only in the season of prolonged rains, if they are not removed from the vine in time. For the rest, the variety is characterized only on the positive side.
